''Fingers X'd is a band from Trenton, Ontario that packs a serious melodic hard rock punch within an edgy radio friendly environment. Serving up the vocals on their latest track "We Want Rock" (okay, so the band lacks some subtlety) is the punchy style of co-lead vocalist Brandon Welling. However, the band's secret weapon on this particular track lies not within the solid guitar work of Brian and Rory, Brandon's punchy bass lines or drummer Chris' Chambers's always in the pocket grooves. What makes this track great as well as the band's sound in general are Brandon's wife Shanda's (aka Lady Lee) complementary, and sultry harmonies when the band settles into their hook laden choruses. Her earthy, almost punk rock vibe reminiscent of such singers as Bif Naked and maybe even a dash of "poor man's
Tragic Kingdom era Gwen Stefani gives them that little extra push over the cliff when it comes to drawing the listener into their grooves and also makes their music just a touch sexy without overdoing it. I would highly recommend that radio presenters add this latest track "We Want Rock" to their heavy rotation immediately!''
